National Law College (NaLC) bade farewell to second batch of BA.LLB students on 21st of Mangsir 2075. The farewell program was organised by the 3rd batch (current 5th year BA.LLB) students. The bitter-sweet yet joyous and entertaining program was hosted by the masters of ceremony – Tej Kumar Lohiya, Ayushma Adhikari and Sushmita Bhattarai. Honorable Principal Dr. Ram Krishna Timalsena as the chief guest along with Coordinator Basant RajPhuyal, Deputy Director Rastra Bimochan Timalsena, International Relation Director James Luworo and faculty member Keshav Raj Pandey graced the program with their enthusiastic presence .
The program started with a welcome speech by Aayami Sapkota. She talked about the irony of welcoming the seniors to their farewell. Then Deputy Director of NaLC Mr. Rastra Bimochan timalsena talked about how special the 2nd and 3rd batch were to him as he started his teaching career with them. The farewell program then continued with very entertaining dancing and singing performances by the very talented students of 5th year. Since it was organised by the 5th year students, how incomplete it would be without some Muktak from Tej Kumar Lohiya Aand he didn’t disappoint.
At the end of the program, the outgoing seniors were presented with token of love by Respected Principal Dr.Ram Krishna Timalsena. He said that farewell didn’t mean the end. The outgoing students no will be colleagues and will always be a part of NaLC family.
Almost everyone from the 2nd batch attended the program organised in their honor. They were very touched with all the efforts made by the 3rd batch students which ranged from hand made rose bud with chocolate inside as a welcome token to the emoji drawn balloons and hand made paper flower decoration. Senior Srija Koirala thanked the organising batch in her Instagram story and so did many others. The program was concluded with the thank you speech by Puspa Pokharel on behalf of all the seniors.
